We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in pump manufacturing to oversee and manage our shop floor operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in planning, managing, and improving production processes, team coordination, and ensuring quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- 1. Plan and execute daily production activities to meet delivery targets. 2. Lead a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians. 3. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards. 4. Coordinate with design, purchase, and QA/QC departments for smooth workflow. 5. Monitor material planning and inventory control. 6. Analyze production data and prepare reports for management. 7. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement continuous improvement practices (Kaizen, 5S, Lean, etc.). Requirements:- 1. Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 2. Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role within the pump or rotating equipment industry. 3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, assembly, and testing of pumps. 4. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. 5. Operate and maintain Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) / Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines. 2. Interpret and work from engineering drawings and job instructions. 3. Perform setup and changeovers as per production requirements. 4. Monitor machine operations and ensure quality output. 5. Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on machines. 6. Record production data and report any deviations or machine issues. Key Responsibilities:- 1. ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical trade. 2. Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in VTL or VMC machines. 3. Good understanding of measuring instruments and quality inspection tools. 4. Ability to read technical drawings.
