has been taken in design of the core winding and in balance
adjustment of the rotor for smooth running with maximum

| Ball
- bearing housing are suitably sealed with special care
to prevent ingress of fine dust, produced by buffing operation,
into the bearings. The lathe is mounted on two ball bearings
one on each side. |

for use on AC 400 / 400, 50 cycles, 3 phase supply. |

Stator Frame and End Shield:
These are of high quality
cast iron and machined to close limits to give accurate
alignment of bearings, the frame and feet being a single
piece completely covering the working parts of the motor

Cores:
Both the stator
and rotor cores consists of thin lamination of high
quality silicon steel, insulated from one another
to reduce the core losses to a minimum
|

|
Windings:
High grade super-enamelled
wire is used in a stator windings which are thoroughly
dried and impregnated with insulation varnish and
backed to assure good insulation. The stator coils are insulated
from the core with leatheriod and empire cloth.

Shafts:
Are of high
grade mild steel machined to ISA tolerances and is ground
accurately for the bearings to be mounted |
