Suguna Charitable Trust is a Corporate Social Endeavor of the Suguna Group of Industries. Suguna Pumps and Motors have a leadership position in the motors and pumps industry and enjoy a strong customer loyalty.
Ever since its inception under the stewardship of Late Shri G Ramaswamy, its visionary chairman, the group has shown remarkable growth and recognition. At a time when electric motors were imported from UK and Germany, he founded Suguna industries at Coimbatore in 1958 to manufacture electric motors. Today the well-diversified group, headed by its Managing Director Shri V. Lakshminarayanasamy has innovative interests in Motors and Pumps, Machined components, pneumatic compressors, Foundry and Textiles.
The Suguna Charitable Trust formed in 1973, has several projects in the field of education and health care, adding laurels to the group’s accomplishments.
The activities of the Trust also include a free medical center, a dental clinic it operates a multipurpose auditorium Suguna Kalyana Mandapam that cater to the needs of the community.
